Welcome to the International Conference
In recent years, world is facing unprecedented challenges related to climate change, resource depletion, waste management, rising healthcare issues and food security where biotechnology has significant potential to address the global challenges in creating a sustainable future. Industrial biotechnology promotes more energy-efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes as well as creating opportunities for reducing pollution, reusing waste and creating new products. It underpins a circular economy which has emphasized holistically addressing economic, environmental, and social aspects of the industrial sector. The International Conference "Biotechnology for Sustainable Development & Circular Economy" (BSDCE-2025) will be jointly organized by Centre for Industrial Biotechnology Research (CIBR), Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar and Biotech Research Society of India, Trivandrum, Kerala to provide a global platform for researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and academicians to share knowledge, present innovations, and collaborate on initiatives that foster a sustainable and circular approach to tackling the pressing challenges of the 21st century.
"Biotechnology for Sustainable Development & Circular Economy" is poised to be a landmark conference that bridges the gap between cutting-edge biotechnological advancements and the urgent need for sustainable practices. By promoting collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing, the conference aims to catalyze a global movement towards a sustainable, circular future powered by biotechnology.
